The
research aims to evaluate the level of teaching competence of physical
education teachers in the primary stage in light of practical lesson
activities, and to determine the extent of competence and evaluation of
teachers' skills in planning and implementing practical activities inside the
classroom. The research relied on the descriptive analytical approach as it is
appropriate for its nature and objectives. The research population represented
the physical education teachers in the Suwani Education Monitoring Office,
numbering 65 physical education teachers. The sample was selected
intentionally, and included 20 teachers, representing 30% of the research
population. The research reached several results, including: the level of
teaching competence varies between fields, which calls for the development of
teachers' evaluation skills. There were also statistically significant
differences in favor of males in planning and implementation, and in favor of
those with higher qualifications and longer experience in all fields. The
researcher reached a set of recommendations, the most important of which are:
developing programs and modifying activities according to student levels,
enhancing cooperation between teachers and using modern technologies such as
providing the necessary equipment and resources, training teachers in their
