Social and health-related causes and their impact on the level of academic underachievement
The research aims to identify the
social and economic reasons that affect academic failure among middle school
students from the teachers' perspective, and to develop students mentally,
physically, morally and socially, and provide them with the basic level of
knowledge and skills that are indispensable for an individual. The research
relied on the descriptive analytical approach. The research reached several
results, the most important of which are: parents' lack of follow-up of their
children at school, the low level of parents' education, and the lack of a
suitable study environment at home. Recommendations include: Parents should
contact the school to check on their children's educational level, and families
should work to provide an appropriate study environment and help students solve
their academic problems.
