Summary:
This research dealt with
the grammatical transformations in ancient Arabic dialects and their impact on
shaping linguistic identity. It aimed to provide a comparative analysis between
the most important ancient Arabic dialects and to analyze their effects on
modern Arabic dialects. It then studied the grammatical differences between
different dialects, such as the dialects of Quraysh, Himyar, and the
Nabataeans, and focused on how grammatical development was based on social and
geographical interaction between different tribes and societies. The results
showed that these transformations were a result of cultural and linguistic
interactions with neighboring peoples, including the influences of Semitic
languages. These ancient grammatical transformations still affect modern
dialects, especially in how grammatical inflections and grammatical context are
used to determine meaning. The research then emphasized the importance of these
transformations in shaping the linguistic identity of modern Arabic dialects.
