Level of social intelligence and its empathetic, social, and information processing dimensions

This research aims to identify the level of social intelligence among students at the Faculty of Arts, Sabratha University. It does so by examining the nature of differences in social intelligence levels within the research sample based on gender and educational level. The research employed a descriptive-analytical methodology. The findings include: a high level of social intelligence among university students, as evidenced by high levels in the social information processing dimension and the social skills dimension; and no statistically significant difference in social intelligence levels based on academic specialization. The research also offers several recommendations, including: positive thinking and organized planning significantly contribute to problem-solving; utilizing modern creative thinking methods contributes to higher students' intelligence levels; and conducting seminars and workshops on social skills for students across various disciplines, encouraging student participation.
