Digital technology and its impact on the educational process from the perspective of faculty members

The educational reality has increasingly come to rely on digital technology as a means of achieving a genuine advancement in the processes of learning, thinking, and communication. This prompted the researcher to study the topic of digital technology and its reflections on the educational process. The study aimed to identify the impact of digital technology on the educational process from the perspective of faculty members.

The descriptive method, using a comprehensive survey approach, was employed, relying on a questionnaire to answer the study’s questions. The study sample consisted of 42 faculty members from the Faculty of Education, Janzour, University of Tripoli.

The study concluded that there is agreement among the sample members that students’ interaction with digital technology plays an important role in the educational process. It also found that the obstacles facing faculty members in using digital technology in educational institutions in general are at a low level.
