Interpretation according to Ibn Rushd
This study deals with the philosophy of Ibn Rushd related to the mental interpretation of religious texts, and its analysis from a new perspective linking the jurisprudential and philosophical aspects in the thought of the Rushdi philosopher. The research addresses how Ibn Rushd is employed by the Aristotelian rationality in the interpretation of legal texts, with a focus on the mechanisms of interpretation and their impact on reconciling religion and philosophy. The research is characterized by a modern approach that deepens the controls and tools of interpretation, and reviews how these ideas can be re -employed in contemporary contexts. It also compares the rational interpretation and the ideas of other philosophers who dealt with the same topic, highlighting the points of excellence in the rational philosophy. Through this study, the vital role of the mind in the interpretation of legal texts and its role in the development of contemporary Islamic thought will be highlighted, while providing a comprehensive vision aimed at exploring new horizons in understanding the relationship between philosophy and religion.
